Onboarding Service

GS1 GDSN deployment in retail only works if supplier provide data to the GS1 GDSN. Therefore we offer additional support for your data pool access that can be booked as an additional project or service upon expense.

We support you in planning, design and implementation of your supplier onboarding process. And we are also happy to temporarily assume roles and responsibilities in your onboarding process.

Our Invitation-Manager allows you to invite your suppliers directly to use b-synced. This is the easiest way for your trading partners to access the GS1 GDSN. And you keep the supplier activation in your own hands, without being dependent on the onboarding activities of external service providers.

Make your supplier onboarding a success story with b-synced!

Individual data quality rules

Electronic data synchronization between manufaturing and retail only supports value-adding processes if high quality data is achieved. GS1 GDSN already offers a small number of globally uniform, basic validation rules which already ensure rudimentary data quality.

However, since these validation rules do not cover country- or industry-specific requirements, there are on-top profile validation rules. These country- and industry-specific quality requirements are taken into account here and already significantly increase data quality.

b-synced goes one step further and allows data recipients to define their own, retailer-specific quality rules and make them transparent to data suppliers. In this way, data quality can be improved once again by the decisive final step in order to meet even the very highest quality requirements.

Standard2Any Mapping

For many potential data recipients, participation in GS1 GDSN fails because the GS1 GDSN message formats cannot be processed and an implementation cannot or should not be carried out. Complex transformations of the format would be necessary to use the data in own systems and for the value-adding processes.

Here too, b-synced offers the right solution. In our Standard2Any Mapping we take over the transformation of the GS1 GDSN message formats into a format requested by the customer, depending on the effort and costs.

Your advantages:

  • receiving data in any format
  • no adaptation of own systems necessary
  • no effort for the implementation of your own GS1 GDSN interface or a GS1 GDSN-ready solution
  • benefit from the enormous amount of product information available within the GS1 GDSN

As a retailer, you also have the option of mapping all your requirements in a supplier portal. This gives manufacturers an easy way to make their product data available to you. Learn more now.

Price Sync

The GS1 GDSN does not only promote the exchange of article master data – price information can be shared via the global standard as well. Through its freshly certified Price Sync function, b-synced enables manufacturers to provide their price information according to the standard’s rules, and retailers benefit from clearly communicated price conditions.

Integrating the Price Sync feature into b-synced allows to transparently exchange price information between retailers and vendors. Manufacturers provide their price terms in accordance with the quality standards, which substantially enhances the communication. This includes the article prices themselves as well as discounts, bulk prices and fees (e.g., for deliveries). Retailers can accept the transmitted price information or decline it in case it deviates from preliminary agreements.
